The 2026 Primary Election offered an important first look at how voters across Montgomery County are responding to my Montgomery County Auditor Campaign.
As a first-time countywide candidate, receiving support from more than 20,000 Republican primary voters was both encouraging and humbling. More importantly, those results reinforced something I have experienced throughout this campaign journey — residents want government that communicates clearly, operates responsibly, and remains accessible to the people it serves.
Although primary elections follow party lines, my focus has never been limited to one political party or voting base. The responsibilities of the Auditor’s office affect every resident, property owner, business, and community throughout Montgomery County.
Property Rights Affect Every Resident
Property ownership, property values, tax transparency, and public accountability are not partisan issues.
Constitutional freedoms protect property rights regardless of political affiliation. Republicans, Democrats, Independents, and unaffiliated voters all deserve fair treatment, accessible information, and responsive government services.
Because of that belief, I have approached this campaign with a countywide mindset from the very beginning.
Throughout this election cycle, I have attended local meetings, spoken with residents across communities, listened to concerns, and had meaningful conversations about the future of Montgomery County. While people may differ politically, many share the same concerns about transparency, modernization, responsiveness, and accountability.
Residents consistently want:
- clearer communication,
- easier access to information,
- modernized systems,
- responsive public offices,
- and confidence that local government is operating efficiently.
Those concerns connect people across every neighborhood and every political perspective.
A Grassroots Campaign Built Through Community
This campaign did not begin with decades of political infrastructure or prior elected office experience. Instead, it grew through community engagement, grassroots outreach, volunteer support, and direct conversations with residents throughout Montgomery County.
Attending township meetings, city council sessions, neighborhood events, and community gatherings created opportunities to hear directly from the people who live and work here every day. Those conversations continue shaping my understanding of what residents expect from public service and local leadership.
At its core, this campaign has always focused on professionalism, accessibility, transparency, and service over politics.
What the Primary Election Results Showed
Primary elections reveal more than vote totals. They also provide insight into voter engagement, message awareness, and community connection.
Receiving more than 20,000 votes as a first-time countywide candidate demonstrated that this message is reaching residents throughout Montgomery County. It also reinforced that many voters are looking for practical solutions, respectful leadership, and a more modern approach to public service.
Just as importantly, this campaign has remained focused on facts, professionalism, and community engagement rather than negativity. That approach will continue moving toward the November General Election.
Looking Ahead to November
The Primary Election marked an important milestone, but the work continues.
Over the coming months, I will continue meeting with residents, attending community events, listening to concerns, and discussing ways the Auditor’s office can better serve property owners, homeowners, businesses, renters, seniors, veterans, and taxpayers throughout Montgomery County.
My goal remains straightforward:
to help build an Auditor’s office that is transparent, responsive, modern, professional, and committed to serving every resident fairly and efficiently.
Thank you to every volunteer, supporter, voter, and resident who continues supporting this campaign and participating in these important conversations.
The conversation continues — and so does the work.
